Bio
Benjamin Newsome is originally from West Yorkshire in the UK. Training professionally at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom leaving with medals in LAMDA and ISTD. Whilst at college he appeared in “The Name of The Game” & “Seeing Tomorrow” both directed by Betty Laine, he was also a lead soloist in “The Lucky Stiff “as Vinnie & “Is There Life After High School” both directed by the legendary Tudor Davies.
At the moment Ben is taking the role of a dancer on board of the renowned cruise ship the Carnival Pride based in LA.
Most recently, he could be seen on the stage of the huge Carnival Conquest dancing his way from Texas to the Caribbean in 5 different production shows. Also starring in “Deja the Diva of Deception” a prolific magic show straight from Las Vegas with the famous magician Deja.
In January 2007 Ben ended the highest selling pantomime performance in Britain as a dancer in Alladin at the Regent Theatre in Stoke appearing alongside famous acts such as Jonathan Wilkes (Rocky Horror, Grease, Tommy ) and Vicky Entwistle (Janice in Coronation Street).
Before that he could be seen playing a villager in Catford at the Broadway Theatre in Snow White, understudying the role of the Prince.
Early 2007 Ben took part in a workshop of the new musical “24 Zero” written by Phoenix Theatrical.
Since leaving college he has appeared in Shape magazine and Men’s Fitness both based in LA and is embarking on a promising modeling career.

Benjamin has also lent his voice to various performances and is a keen songwriter writing many songs in his spare time.
Ben is now starting to focus on casting and assisting casting at many auditions and is looking forward to working with so many wonderful people.
